Our auction experience was unbelievable. We were both skeptical about what to sell and we wondered if it was the way to go to downsize as we were moving to a much smaller home. All we can say is that it was a totally wonderful experience and we were so happy with the whole process. Steve and Alice Linnebur and their staff worked so hard to get things organized and they walked us through the whole process, step by step. The day of the auction, we had a horrible rainstorm. Steve was up throughout the night watching the weather and when it was determined that it was going to be a gully-washer, he called Bill and said the sale would be postponed for a day. He and Alice contacted people and put up signs about the postponement. The next day, it was sunny and nice. We had a great crowd show up and EVERYTHING went!!! It was a great day and I was so happy to see that people were happy taking things off our hands that were no longer needed. I cannot say enough positive things about the experience and I would recommend the Linnebur Auction Company to anyone interested in having such a sale. Thank you so much for making our auction a huge success.  You and your staff were thoughtful and efficient.  The farm was a lot cleaner when you left than when we first started.  We are so glad we met you many, many years ago.  Am sure you sold something (again), that Nancy bought from you a few years ago.

Steve & Alice,

I have always enjoyed coming to your auctions and now having you do ours. I have always felt that you have been straightforward and professional in everything you do.  I have watched other auctions around the area and felt that you were one of the few honest auctioneers. Again, I was happy with the end result. As for Nancy’s things going for some lower prices than I expected, maybe she paid too much In the first place. The customers always let us know what the correct price is.

We would like to thank you for holding a fun and honest auction on 10/31/09.

 
We are on you email list, and live in Texas.  We planned our trip up here around your sale, believe it or not and came to bid on panels of which we bought a bunch.
 
To be frank, we appreciate your honest auction, with no 'fake' bids and with such a team of fun auctioneers especially Steve.
 
And thank you for allowing us to leave our trailer there because roads to our place were too muddy for the loaded trailer full of panels we purchased.
 
Good buys, good folks, good fun.

Bringing full circle a hundred year family farming legacy was very hard and heartbreaking.  Along with the dirt, sweat and tears, God sent us Steve and Alice Linnebur.  Together, with their immense knowledge, sprinkled with their wonderful humor and God given ability, we completed that legacy which began in Colorado with a little German immigrant.
